Top Gear - Switch from manual to automatic with Oilband PetroSupervisor
UK-based Oilband Limited have firmly established themselves as a leading edge terminal automation systems supplier for the petrochemical industry with the high-performance range of PetroSoft packages. The key products in the PetroSoft range are PetroSupervisor, an automatic truck loading application for the smaller authorised distribution market, and PetroManager, which is aimed at the larger distribution terminal.
The Petrosoft range is now available fully integrated with third party tank gauging equipment to provide real-time level monitoring, high level and leak alarms via SMS straight to any number of mobile phones using the new PetroMonitor tank gauging module, and can also be used with state of the art blending equipment to provide high-accuracy software-controlled blending. Blends such as biodiesel and bioethanol can be delivered in any ratio, fully configurable from the PetroSoft user interface. The same technology can be used to inject additives at any ratio via the same user-friendly interface.
Delivery of blended, additised or pure base product is handled by meters such as the Isoil Vega II, Accuload III and Contrec 1010. These devices are fully supported by PetroSoft, and have delivered billions of litres reliably at over 50 sites in the UK. All deliveries to and from tanks are recorded automatically, and can be reconciled via the software.
Advanced reporting is included as standard, giving a complete paper trail with reprintable bills of lading, per-customer tank and product activity reports, and trend reports for tank levels. The on-screen tank gauging interface also offers additional insight, with time-scalable trend graphs and a real-time tank level display both for tank farms and individual tanks.
The PetroSoft system itself is fully networkable, so clients can be installed at distant locations, enabling delivery and inventory monitoring over a secure WAN as well as across the office LAN.
