Oilband Limited based in Buxton, Derbyshire in the UK have firmly established themselves as a leading edge Terminal Automation System supplier for the petrochemical industry, with over 40 installations of their next generation Java/Linux based PetroSoft systems in the past 4 years.
Oilband originally developed PetroSupervisor, an automatic truck loading application for the smaller authorised distribution market and PetroManager, which is aimed at the larger distribution terminal.
The company now offers a tank level monitoring solution PetroMonitor, which closes the loop on inventory control and can be fully integrated into their automatic truck loading systems. PetroMonitor can host a variety of third party tank gauging equipment and can be retro-fitted to existing customer systems. The system allows the customer to record all deliveries to tank, gives real time measurement of inventory levels, and can be configured to send high level and leak alarms automatically via SMS messaging straight to a mobile phone.
The system is also fully networkable allowing customers with multiple sites to control all their inventory and deliveries securely from a remote location.
