Tailored terminal automation
A PetroManager installation is geared towards meeting the demands of main oil, fuel and chemical distribution terminals. Order and collection management, and returns handling are included as part of the core system. Credit control may be added via a PetroLedger module, which provides much more comprehensive terms and account manipulation and reporting features.
The development process starts with an exhaustive analysis of your terminal's business needs, including site visits and stakeholder meetings to ensure that your automation project will be implemented successfully.
Once customer requirements have been determined, we can optionally produce a formal specification document for inspection and signing off by the customer, and will then proceed with the implementation process.
Product blending
PetroManager has been offering additised and blended product loading for over 15 years, and the latest release is no exception.
We have carried over support for old additive technologies such as piston-based additive injection, while also adding support for the new intelligent multi-stream additive control units. There is also support for the newer blending technologies. This allows us to offer unique, computer-controlled multiple additive per product capability as well as blending with flexible, customer-controlled blend recipes.
Room for growth
By adding additional modules, the system can be expanded, whether at initial deployment or at a later date. Bespoke interfaces to new equipment can also be added at competitive prices. Our team of software and hardware engineers has extensive experience with a wide variety of serially-attached metering, logic control systems and level reading devices, using industry standard Modbus as well as other, proprietary protocols.
The system includes drivers for a variety of metering equipment, including Avery, Brooks, Contrec, Daniel, Enraf, Fluidwell, Isoil, S.a.m.p.i and Smith meters. Common industrial PLCs are supported, and new drivers can be written as and when a new device appears on the market. Our modular system and flexible open technology foundation make this possible.
